Houston, we have a problem: 200 – 300 meters of stainless steel tubing at all time in stock. Stock is “organized” using 4 pallets. So you can imagine, it is just pile of metal.
Solution
Make a rack for 3-4 different diameter tubes for 40-50 tubes by 6 meters. Some are shorter for sure, but this is the starting point.
As a first step i created 3D model in Shapr3D. I found this very useful not only for thinking about the construction of the racks but also for calculating that i need exactly 24 meters of 5 x 5 (or 2 x 2 if you think in inches) and 138 screws to put this thing together.
